The first thing that I noticed was that the box was slightly smaller and QD was written in Orange?! It was a sim free N-Gage QD which came with the The Sims Bustin' Out game. Sorry about the picture quality it was done on my friends digital camera because mine has packed up!
After opening the box and taking everything out the first thought that crossed my mind was the fact that it was so much more smaller then the original and this one had a touch of class with its design, this was not the look I had in mind and I was very impressed. When holding the QD it felt small but it was comfortable! The headphones were a white snow colour which also looked very smart in there own way. So far I had figured out that the QD was definitly made for style.
In the box I also found a Nokia Dummy Sim Card (shown below) this is used for inserting into the game deck just so you can access the phone and play games I guess this is what is used on the demo machines in the mobile phone shops. Anyway I inserted this into the QD game deck and switched it on, the only thing that has changed apart from the fact that it had no MP3 player or Radio was that the design of the main menu had changed and the icons were all different, the extra stuff that I noticed which had been added from the original to the QD was "Game Manager" and "Vid. player" not real one player but this was available on the CD provided as sis file to install. The most exciting feature that had been added was the N-Gage Areana Launcher Software. I will be fully reviewing this some time this week!
Also with the game was a see through game case which was pretty neat and can hold up to 4 N-Gage games. For now this was the first hands on experience with the N-Gage QD for me and I was not dissapointed at all but only time will tell how I truely feel about it considering the fact that I have got the original and it is still considered the best one!
